Opptify AB — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1) Scope & Responsibilities

This AUP applies to Customer, its users, and any Affiliates using the Service under Customer’s account.

Customer is responsible for all use under its account and for enforcing this AUP with its users and contractors.

2) Security & System Integrity

Do not:

• attempt to bypass security or access controls, scan ports, probe, or penetration test the Service without Opptify’s prior written approval;
• introduce malware, exploits, or perform activities that degrade, overload, or disrupt the Service;
• share credentials, use generic/shared logins, or circumvent authentication/rate-limits;
• upload code or run automations that perform unsanctioned scraping, crawling, or excessive API calls.

3) Prohibited Uses & Content

Do not use the Service to:

• violate law (including IP, privacy, anti-spam, export controls/sanctions) or the rights of others;
• store or transmit unlawful or harmful content (including defamatory, fraudulent, or abusive material);
• infringe IP rights, misappropriate trade secrets, or engage in deceptive practices;
• operate life-critical or high-risk systems where failure could lead to death or serious harm (e.g., medical devices, aviation, nuclear, emergency services);
• send unsolicited or bulk spam or phishing.

4) Prohibited Data (unless expressly agreed in writing)

Unless Opptify has agreed in writing to specific safeguards, do not upload or process:

• Special categories of personal data (GDPR Art. 9: health, biometric, genetic, racial/ethnic, political, religious, sexual orientation, etc.);
• Children’s data (under 16) or educational records subject to child-specific laws;
• Payment card data (PCI-DSS) or banking credentials;
• Government-issued identifiers beyond what is strictly necessary for business contact/admin purposes;
• Medical/health records, patient data (HIPAA), or social-security/NI numbers;
• Criminal offense data (GDPR Art. 10).

5) Fair Use & Automation

• Respect usage limits, seat caps, storage quotas, and API rate limits stated in the Order Form or Service Description.
• Do not resell, rent, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau without written permission.
• Automated access (bots/scripts/integrations) must throttle to published limits and must not interfere with others’ use.

6) AI/LLM Features

• Certain features may invoke AI APIs as processors for tenant-scoped interpretation/search. Do not submit Prohibited Data (Section 4) to such features unless expressly agreed and documented.
• You may not use the Service to develop or train generalized models that compete with Opptify or to scrape other customers’ data.

7) Export Controls & Sanctions

• Do not use the Service in embargoed/sanctioned jurisdictions or for the benefit of sanctioned persons.
• Customer warrants it is not a sanctioned entity and will comply with applicable export control laws.

8) Vulnerability Reporting

If you discover a potential vulnerability, report it to info@opptify.com. Do not publicly disclose issues until Opptify confirms remediation or provides permission.

9) Enforcement

• Opptify may suspend or terminate access for violations of this AUP or the ToS, with notice where reasonable. Opptify may remove content that violates this AUP or law.
• Customer remains responsible for fees during any suspension caused by its violations.
• Opptify may investigate suspected abuse and may involve law enforcement where required by law.

10) Changes

Opptify may update this AUP periodically. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance to Customer admin contacts, consistent with the ToS. The latest version will be posted at https://opptify.com/legal/aup with version and effective date.
